i think people expect too much. specifically with trans things.
like, when people say “if you’re a homosexual male, you should still like trans men” or visa versa.
so yeah ok a good chunk of gay cis men would be like “yeah sure ill date a trans man” but then the other half who say they won’t, thats ok.
seriously. homoSEXUAL is being attracted to a person with the same sex. my gender is male, but my sex is female. its unfortunate, but hey, we gotta play the cards we’re dealt.
yeah sure its disappointing when someone says they wouldn’t want to date you because you’re trans, but seriously, understand that in a lot of relationships there is a sexual side, and if one person doesn’t find the other sexually attractive, it’s not a good thing, ok?

Yeah I did. You said trans men who liked women would be homosexuals. Another word for a homosexual female is lesbian if you didn’t know.
they were saying homosexual men arent obligated to be attracted to trans men and might not be (especially pre-op i guess). while this could imply that lesbians could be attracted to trans men, that wasn’t their point at all and i’m not entirely sure how you came to the conclusion that OP is implying straight trans men should date lesbians. i mean yeah, theyd technically be homosexual pre-everything if you wanna get pedantic about it, but they only really emphasised that with gay men to explain why they might not wanna date trans men.

If someone was bad in bed for any reason it'd be the same thing. If there's no sexual attraction then there's no sexual attraction. It'd be one thing if they were actually doing something wrong, but you can't control it.

I'm astounded as to how transstar even got that from reading that post honestly. I agree with what you said to a point, I think that sometimes it can work out because sex isn't always the main focus of a relationship or some people can deal, but really you can't fault someone for not being sexually attracted to someone else. One of my pet peeves is when people group people by sex, but if you really aren't attracted to someone you aren't attracted to them.
